Who's responsible

Gytis Petravičius, operating under Lithuanian individual activity certificate No. 1107933, Lithuania, is the data controller. Reach us at hello@clipgrid.io.

What we store

Exactly what the product needs and nothing beside it:

  • Owner and editor seats – name, email, and a hashed password (we never see the password itself).
  • Client reviewers – the name, and optionally the email, they type on a review page, so the team knows whose note is whose.
  • The work – uploaded video, cuts, notes pinned to timecodes, tasks, and the activity feed.
  • One session cookie to keep you signed in. Inside the product – your workspace and every review page – there are no analytics, no trackers, no third-party cookies.

This website

clipgrid.io – this marketing site, not your workspace – measures its traffic with Umami, an open-source analytics tool we run on our own EU server. It uses no cookies, stores no personal data, and shares nothing with anyone; that's why it needs no consent. Google's tag (Analytics and, when we advertise, ads measurement) runs in consent mode: until you allow it, it sets no cookies, stores no identifiers, and sends only anonymous pings that Google uses for aggregate conversion counts. Allow it when asked and it switches to normal cookie-based measurement; the same yes turns on Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session recordings and, when we advertise, ad-platform pixels (Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn). Decline and none of those load. Nothing here ever runs inside the product.

Where it lives

Your workspace runs on servers in the EU. Nightly backups go to Cloudflare R2 object storage. Email (invites, reset links, notifications) goes out through our email provider or the SMTP server your workspace configures. Payments are handled by Paddle.com as merchant of record – card details never touch ClipGrid.

How long

For the life of the subscription plus 30 days, then deleted. Backup snapshots age out within 35 days. Delete a project or a cut and it's gone from the live workspace immediately, from backups within 35 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion – whether you're a workspace owner, an editor, or a client who left a note. Email hello@clipgrid.io; we answer within 30 days.
